Who we are

Saphenia (“we”, “us”) provides decision-logic infrastructure for enterprise AI agents. For the personal data described on this page, the data controller is Saphenia Inc, 8 The Green, STE R, Dover, DE 19901, United States.

What we collect

We keep this deliberately narrow. There is no account to create on this website and no product data flows through it.

• Information you send us through the demo form: work email, company, role, industry, the workflow you're exploring, and any optional notes. We also store your browser's user-agent string and the page that referred you, to help us spot spam submissions.
• Analytics, only if you accept it: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and how you moved through the site. This is collected by Google Analytics and is not used to identify you personally.
• Technical logs created automatically by our hosting provider when your browser requests a page, including IP address, timestamp and the resource requested. These are used for security and reliability.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Under the GDPR we need a lawful basis for each use of your data. Ours are:

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo — our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and in taking steps towards a possible contract.
• To measure how the site is used and improve it — your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
• To keep the site secure and available, and to prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in protecting our own infrastructure.
• To meet accounting, tax or other legal obligations where they apply — compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions:

• Google (Firebase Hosting, Cloud Firestore, Google Analytics) — hosting for this website, storage for demo-form submissions, and website analytics where you have consented.
• Our own email and CRM tooling, used to follow up on your enquiry.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the additional safeguards our providers commit to in their data processing terms.

How long we keep it

Demo-form submissions are kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can pick up where we left off. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. After that, data is deleted or aggregated so it no longer identifies anyone.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. You can withdraw consent for analytics at any time using the cookie settings on this page — withdrawing it does not affect anything collected beforehand. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@saphenia.com; we'll respond within one month.

If you think we've handled your data badly, we'd like the chance to put it right first — but you're entitled to complain to your local data protection authority at any time.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Demo-form submissions are written to a managed database with access restricted to the people who need it, and access is reviewed. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us confidential or special-category information through the form — a demo call is the right place for that.

Automated decisions, and children

We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you. This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16; we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when what we do changes, and we'll move the date at the top. This version is dated 25 August 2026.
